Note:
Only candidates with the legal right to work in the US without sponsorship will be considered for this role.
 
Pay:
Hourly rate will depend on experience. Someone with minimal experience will start at $16/hr.
 
 
Schedule:
Standard work hours are 8-5 and some days will be 12-15 hour days and some on call during the week and weekends
 
 
Job Summary:
The ART Technician operates under minimal supervision in equipment testing, repair, dismantle, assembly, coating and other duties associated to the service center.
 
 
Responsibilities:
  1. Process & Equipment- Performs equipment tests, per applicable procedures and specifications, for pumps, motors, protectors, gas separators, intakes and monitoring tools.
  2. Completes test documentation and reports.
  3. Ensures good housekeeping of work area.
  4. Maintains tooling and equipment in good and safe working condition.
  5. Assembles and dismantles equipment per applicable documents.
  6. Performs testing, during the dismantle process, as specified in dismantle MPI's, and records results.
  7. Machines or polishes parts for assembly.
  8. General welding or welding on product as per specifications.
  9. Completes Assembly & Dismantle reporting forms (whether hand-written or system entry) and maintains dismantle files/ database.
  10. Other tasks and responsibilities may be assigned as dictated by business needs and as assigned by management.
  11. Quality & HSE- Follows established job safety analyses (JSA's) and risk prevention and mitigation measures.
  12. Follows established systems, procedures, and processes, including, but not limited to, Quality Management System, Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI's) and Artificial Lift Field Operations Manual.
  13. Remains current on Minimum and Job Related Quality and HSE trainings.
  14. Maintains personal Quality and HSE passport as specified by standard.
  15. Complies with all <company> and district policies and standards.
  16. Participates in all required Quality and HSE training.
  17. Shuts down any operation and contacts supervisor for any operation deemed too hazardous to proceed.
  18. Stops any process and controls further processing, delivery, or installation of non-conforming product until the deficiency has been corrected.
  19. Reports hazardous situations, incidents and non-conformances as per relevant company standards.
  20. Trains and mentors other <COMPANY> Personnel as requested by management.

Requirements

  • Education:
    • High School graduate
  • Experience:
    • Vocational training in electrical/mechanical/machine/welding helpful.
    • Mandatory Momentum fixed-step progression.
    • Basic electrical knowledge helpful.
    • Proper use of hand tools.
    • Basic mathematics.
    • Needs to have average mechanical knowledge and ability.
    • Basic submersible pumping system knowledge helpful.
