About the job

  • Ensuring the safe, efficient and cost effective deployment of completions on the rig.
  • Supervision and monitoring of well completion operations in accordance with the company's objectives and policies.
  • Coordinate with office based and rig site based personnel to ensure the optimal execution of the completion program.
  • Ensure all rig upgrade/ deck space requirements are addressed to handle completion equipment. Interface with rig contractor and other completion contractors to ensure deliveries are met.
  • Responsible for oversight and planning of onshore preparation and offshore installation of completion equipment in collaboration with the Drilling/ Subsea, O&M/ Projects teams as well as the rig contractor, service provider and equipment suppliers.
  • Supervising all pressure tests related to completion operations.
  • Preparing and sending daily completion reports to the office.
  • Supervising testing and maintenance activities in company's/ contractor's bases/ workshops.
  • Review the QA/ QC, FAT and SIT plans received from completion contractors.

HSE Requirement:
  • Shall have valid Helicopter Underwater Egress Training/ Sea Survival/ Basic Fire Fighting/ Basic First Aid training certificate.
  • Should have valid offshore fitness certificate approved by company's doctor.
  • Should be trained in Well Control and should have valid IWCF certification (Subsea).
Operations and Technical Requirement:
  • Should be a graduate/ diploma holder
  • 15 years' oilfield experience with 8 years in an operational completions/ sand control environment.
  • Should have been involved in a minimum of 50 (total) completion planning and operations for wells requiring sand control services (OHGP, CHGP, CHFP).
  • Shall have experience as a sand control supervisor in deep water environment. Documentary evidence is required.
  • Capable of performing space - out calculations, tool movement calculations and accounting for tidal movements for floaters.
  • Should have the experience of tool supervisor for atleast 20 sand control jobs. (12 minimum  with ASST)
  • Should be familiar with Slickline, E-line and coiled tubing operations (with pressure control equipment) on a floater.
  • Shall have experience of Quality Plans, QA/ QC processes for packers, gravel pack tools etc. Documentary evidence of experience required.
  • Shall be capable of performing space - out calculations for wash pipe - GP service tool, prevention of connections across BOP and spacing - out of seal assembly inside packer.
