Economist within AFC Department

Responsibilities:

The resource will be part of the administrative and financial team of the project.

The resource will perform the activities in compliance with the laws in force and with the instructions and procedures issued by the AFC Manager, Finance Manager, Operations Controlling management and other Headquarters managements.

The resource will provide support in administrative, financial and treasury management, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

In details:

•   Responsible for the daily operations of the Finance Department including:

o    accounts payable/receivable;

o   fiscal invoice checking;

o   debt and credit activity;

o   cash receipts;

o   ensures the support of the team in relation to making payments, sending payment requests and payment confirmations;

o   prepares and submit the documents requested by the Finance Manager

o   active and passive bonds;

o   insurance;

•   Establish and maintain financial data and reports;

•   Assist management in some usual and specific reports as required time by time.

Requirements:

•   1-3 years’ experience in the same role preferably in the large complex infrastructure sector;

•   University Degree in Accounting / General Economics, Accountancy Diploma or equivalent;

•   Knowledge of accounting principles (preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of the IAS/IFRS);

•   Knowledge of SAP and of the main IT packets (particularly Excel/PowerPoint) is a plus;

•   Good English knowledge;

•   Excellent relational skills.
