Job Description

WTS Energy is looking for a Construction Engineer with experiece on Floating Offshore Windfarm.

Description:

– He/She will be assigned to the Floating Offshore Wind Industrialisation team. It will interface with the Construction department, customers and the proposals team.

– Development of industrialisation methods for the manufacture of floats. In particular, drafting of manufacturing and assembly standards, development of tools.

– Organising constructability reviews.

– Research into new technologies / solutions for the industrialisation of float manufacturing.

– Providing technical support to yards / ports to guide them through the specific requirements for manufacturing large-scale floats.

– During the tender and design phases, support the proposal team and prepare the required construction deliverables. For example: construction execution plan, schedule, estimate of direct hours, resources required for integration.

– Preparing clarifications and technical evaluations of bids.

– Regular updating of construction standards.

Skills required:

– Mastery of the specificities of offshore construction (minimum 5 years in Offshore project execution)
– Mastery of modular construction
– Yard experience, mainly in structural disciplines
– Experience on offshore installation vessels would be a plus.
