Lead Project Control Management

Duration : 6 months renewable

Location: Paris, La Défense

Technical Requirements

The language of the service will be English and/or French. Chinese and/or spanish would be a plus

 
Strong expertise on Scheduling Software is a must, Primavera Scheduling Software expertise is mandatory.

Expertise on one (or more) project(s) in Project Control/PMO Team as planning manager to be able to understand and assess the Critical Path Method of scheduling // understand and use schedule delay principles

and techniques // understand the contractual strategy and relation with schedule (EPC Contractor schemes, equipment supply contracts, PPA …) // understand principles of cost estimating and productivity applied to schedule (durations, cost and resource loading, etc.).

 
Expertise in working in HQ Project control support team outside pure project management team would be a plus to have expertise of working in a less define environment: Adaptability and flexibility associated with a rigorous approach are key success factors.

Renewables industry expertise would be a plus!!

Tasks to be performed

During execution phase, depending on the geography maturity:

 • For small geographies

o During early execution phase, after contracts award, onboard both EPC contractor planning team and Project Company planner through workshops and review sessions.

o Support the execution team (Internal&EPC) in building then approving the baseline schedule, and implementing accurate project control tools and deploying best practices in line with the Group and industry HSE and quality standards

o During the project execution, assist the project execution team in the assessment of actual progress and updated schedule, particularly assess the overall project delay risk and propose corrective actions.

• For other geographies, support execution team by providing planning expertise & support to execution team in case of variations, delays, claims linked with planning and/or EoT situations with Clients and/or Contractors.

Propose solutions to mitigate delay’s risk and/or enforce acceleration opportunities.

• Contribute to monthly Project Execution Review for projects under his/her supervision

• Deploy Risk Analysis activities into the Project Control functions for projects under his/her supervision

• Deploy Cost Control activities into the Project Control functions under his/her supervision

During late development phase :

• Support the execution team in the assessment of the preliminary projects schedule and may assist One Tech or Project Development Team during EPC CFT.

Methods/Crossfertilization:

Development, management and deployment of project control methodologies, best practices and tools in line with the Group and industry HSE and quality standards in particular with the deployment of digital tools (in coordination with OT-TL/PJC)
