Do you have the technical knowledge to develop high-quality and innovative solutions for energy storage projects?

What are you going to do?

You translate customer-specific wishes and requirements for energy storage systems into functional solutions. Of course, you work in accordance with applicable (inter)national standards and you monitor and guarantee the correct application of those standards and regulations with regard to the solutions to be delivered.

In the project, you are technically responsible for all engineering aspects within the scope of the project, which primarily consist of the electrical integration of the storage system, new or existing high-voltage distribution installations, the civil design and the IT network integration of the storage system. Within the project, you ensure that all activities are divided into technical work packages that are assigned to the right specialists and engineers, both internally and externally. Together with the technical project team, you will deliver both the basic and detailed design of the project. To this end, you will have intensive technical consultation and contact with various parties, including project managers, installation managers, draughtsmen, specialists, suppliers, work planners and (sub)contractors.

What makes this role even more attractive is that you provide support for pre- and after-sales activities. You also have a role to play in guiding/supporting the site acceptance testing of the project. There is also room for you to initiate product and quality improvements.

What does our client ask of you?

Having some experience in bringing customer-specific requirements into a concrete project design will help you to become successful in this role. In order to be successful in this role, we would like to see the following in your profile:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology or similar
• Several years of work experience as a project (lead) engineer
• Preferably work experience with high voltage installations.
• You are a colleague who is strong in organizing your work systematically, effectively and efficiently.
• You anticipate and respond to changes. • You monitor the progress of tasks and activities and take action if necessary
• Challenge yourself and others and develop initiatives with a view to a better result.
• You take action independently to implement new plans and solve problems
