Overview

WTS Energy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pipeline & Structure Engineer to join our team in Paris, France. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in deepwater engineering and a proven track record in the design, fabrication, and installation of subsea rigid flowlines. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of projects, interfacing effectively with contractors, and contributing to our commitment to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering design, fabrication, and installation processes for subsea rigid flowlines, with a specific focus on rigid wet insulated systems.
• Oversee the development and implementation of Subsea Pipeline End Terminations (PLET), including the integration of subsea valves, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
• Interface with contractors to ensure that all engineering activities are executed according to project schedules, budgets, and quality requirements.
• Apply deepwater engineering expertise to solve complex problems, optimize designs, and ensure the technical integrity of pipeline and structure projects.
• Collaborate with project management and other engineering disciplines to ensure cohesive project execution and delivery.
• Contribute to the development of project execution plans, including risk assessments, and mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to subsea pipeline engineering and deepwater operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Ocean Engineering, or a related field.
• More than 5 years of experience in deepwater engineering, with specific expertise in the design, fabrication, and installation of subsea rigid flowlines.
• Mandatory experience with rigid wet insulated flowline systems.
• Strong knowledge of Subsea Pipeline End Terminations (PLET) and subsea valves.
• Proven experience in project execution and interfacing with contractors.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in French is highly advantageous.
