Job Overview:

WTS Energy is seeking an experienced Civil Works Quality Inspector for a significant project in Brunsbüttel, Germany. The successful candidate will lead the Civil Quality Control efforts in the construction of a Regasification Plant, ensuring all work complies with both customer and regulatory standards. This role requires immediate incorporation and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a critical infrastructure project.

Scope:

• Assume leadership in Civil Quality Control for the construction of a Regasification Plant.
• Ensure compliance with all customer and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee quality control metrics, including the study and application of customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Civil Quality Control operations, focusing on excavation, fills, foundations, piles, and control of Concrete Plants.
• Conduct concrete tests and inspections to ensure compliance with specified standards.
• Interpret and enforce German civil regulations and standards within the project scope.
• Manage the application of customer specifications, defining requirements and quality control metrics.
• Review civil plans and specifications to ensure quality and compliance.
• Implement and maintain Quality Management Systems in line with project and regulatory requirements.

Required Competences:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in similar quality control tasks within civil works projects.
• Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering.
• Full command of the German language, essential for managing regulations and effective communication.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in managing German civil regulations.
• Proficiency in reading civil plans and implementing specific knowledge in Civil Quality Control (e.g., excavation and fills, foundations and piles, Concrete Plants control).
• Training and experience in Quality Management Systems.
• Fluency in written and spoken English, essential for international communication within the project.
