CONSTRUCTION QA QC LEAD

 
Job summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Construction QA QC Lead to support the Contract Holder in carrying out the day-to-day tasks. The Construction QA QC Lead will reinforce the CLIENT HSSE requirements to the inspectors on site.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and implement a Construction Quality Assurance/Control Plan including required construction QAQC procedures
• Attend a kick off meeting with Construction Contractors to ensure Quality objectives and expectations are addressed and clearly understood.
• Assist / Review of Construction Contractors quality documents (quality plan, ITP, quality procedures, and etc.)
• Setup and lead site Quality Induction Program
• Participate prequalification of Inspectors from GFA Inspection Agencies based on job requirements and maintaining a list of approved inspectors and back-ups as approved by CLIENT / Project.
• Assign inspectors and follow up the status of all inspectors on a daily basis with optimizing each inspector’s daily schedule to ensure the most value add to the customer while minimizing minimum callouts.
• Receive and review Inspection Reports from assigned inspectors and distribute the Inspection Reports to concerned project team members of CLIENT and Contractors with highlighting any specific action required
• Establish and implement Quality Observation process including receiving , screening, reporting, and follow up on Quality Observations raised
• Participate Flawless delivery program on site such as Q-rounds
• Process all NCR with appropriate engineering departments and ensure that required TA approval is obtained before conveying acceptance of any deviation from the specified standards and keep updated a status of all NCR issued in the scope of the project and to monitor them until their close out
• Obtain and review statistic/trends of construction quality in regular basis (weekly, monthly) from Construction Constructors
• Provide statistic/trends and analysis of construction quality in regular basis (weekly, monthly) to Project Quality Manager.
• Ensuring inspector hours are balanced and maximum safe hour limits are observed. Closely monitor weekly hours report for excessive weekly hours worked.
• Provide real time information feedback to CLIENT Project Group on Quality Issues and concerns.
• Ensuring continuity when using back up inspectors through direct communication, and/or providing copies of inspector daily reports.
• Lead / participate quality audit upon request.
• Interface with procurement group, construction group, and engineering group.
• Provide resolution of on-going quality issue in consultation with discipline engineer.
• To issue at the end of the construction activity a Close out report highlighting the main results of the inspection activities and the Feed Back this can be helpful for future projects.

Qualifications:

• Fluent level in German
