Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Road Engineer to oversee and manage the design, construction, and maintenance of roads. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all road projects are designed, constructed, and maintained in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Various positions available/various levels of seniority, depending on experience.

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the design, construction, and maintenance of roads.
• Develop and implement road design plans, specifications, and construction methods.
• Conduct geotechnical and pavement analysis for road projects.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards (European and Romanian Legislation for roads) , including health and safety regulations.
• Work closely with project stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and clients, to ensure that all requirements are met.
• Review and identify any potential issues or concerns.
• Monitor construction progress and adjust schedules as necessary to ensure timely completion of the project.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure that work is being carried out to the required standard.
• Prepare progress reports and communicate project status to senior management.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project team members, including site supervisors and construction workers.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the construction process, and work to resolve them in a timely and effective manner.

Experience and qualifications

• AutoCAD Civil 3 d
• Mc Office
• Ms Project
• High knowledge of the different road consolidation methodologies
• Kowledge of artificial tunnels built with the mechanized methodology and Polata built by “cut and cover” method ;
• Romanian and English language
