Production Coordinator

About The Role

For an important International E&P Company, we are currently looking for an Production Coordinator to work in Villahermosa, Tabasco.

To be successful in this Role, you need:

University Degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial or related technical discipline).

10 – 15 years of experience (min 5 years of experience with personnel in charge) in the position or similar: production operations, maintenance, production engineering, well interventions (slick line, wire line, coiled tubing, pulling, flush by, Workover), production facilities, etc.

Experience in project execution.

International experience is desirable.

Experience in Exploration & Production and in Drilling campaigns.

Scope of work includes but is not limited to:

• Knowledge in production operations and engineering, maintenance, well interventions, facilities and logistics.
• Knowledge about artificial lift systems (gas lift, sucker rod pumping, jet pump, electro submersible pump, plunger lift), properties of production fluids and the principles of operation of all the main components of the oil system, from downhole to surface facilities.
• Knowledge of local labor standards and legislation, related to health, safety, and the environment. Understanding financial and business concepts related to the oil and gas industry, and knowledge of project economic assessment tools.
• Competencies in I&T tools (Office package, SAP, Integrated Production Model, Simulation).
• Responsible for oil and gas production safely, sustainably and cost-effectively in all operational facilities, from wells to final delivery at third-party plants.

• Monitoring and optimization of well production from bottom hole to surface installations. Identification of plant and production process optimization.
• Evaluate the need for chemical injection in the field (paraffin inhibitors, demulsifying agents, corrosion inhibitors and chemicals in general).
• Management of interventions with slick line equipment, downhole measurement, gas lift valves replacement, tubing mechanical cleaning, etc. Manage program development, monitoring and results analysis with the team.
• Development and management of workflows and tools (integrated production models) to detect bottlenecks, production optimization proposals, moto compressor installation, artificial lift system efficiency, etc.
• Ensure compliance with QHSE guidelines in operations under control.
• Plan and execute operations according to QHSE standards of the company’s management system.
• Participate in cross-sectoral meetings for comprehensive planning.
• Responsible for the operative coordination of own and third-party personnel.
• Estimate and set the annual operating expenditures budget (OPEX).

Mandatory skills:

Excellent English and Spanish communication skills.

Location based: Villahermosa, Tabasco.
