Electrical Engineer | Exploration & Production | Offshore & Onshore

About The Role

For an important International E&P Company, we are currently looking for an Electrical Engineer to work in Mexico City.

To be successful in this Role, you need:

Education (Required Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree, Engineering, Technical Degree, etc.)

University Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or similar).

10 years of professional experience as a electrical engineer.

Experience in engineering and execution of petroleum projects of facilities >10 mln USD.

Experience with FEED engineering, project execution and commissioning.

Scope of work includes but is not limited to:

• Be part of the integrated project team as responsible for the electrical discipline during the FEED study phases, with the expectation to continue in the role during detailed engineering, construction and installation and commissioning of the field onshore facilities.
• Review and verify electrical engineering
• Identify areas of opportunity and proposed design improvements.
• Cooperate and participate in meetings with partners and suppliers
• Contribute to risk analysis sessions, quality control during the construction and installation phase
• Knowledge and experience in the design/selection and specification of high, medium and low voltage electrical equipment in petroleum installations, including power generation and supply to offshore installations.
• Knowledge of explosion protection, atmospheric discharge protection systems.
• Knowledge of electrical corrosion protection systems
• Ability to analyze and verify process designs and identify key points or bottlenecks and proper communication and discussion with the engineering service provider.

Mandatory skills:

Excellent English and Spanish communication skills.

Location based: Mexico City.
