Junior Accountant

Job Objective:

Ensuring the correct and timely registration of financial and accounting documents, support for the month-end closing process and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

1. Registration of accounting documents

o Registration of purchase and sales invoices.

o Recording of expense statements.

o Registration of banking operations

2. Managing the Cash Register

o Daily verification and recording of cash operations.

o Reconciliation of the cash register with account statements.

3. Preparation and Verification of Primary Documents

o Verification of primary documents for compliance with legal and internal requirements.

o Ensuring the correct archiving of accounting documents.

4. Support for all accounting operations

o Participation in the periodic inventory process.

o Preparation and verification of sheets for fixed assets and inventory objects

o Distribution of expenses by profit centers

o Support for the preparation of internal financial reports

5. Account Reconciliation and Analysis

o Reconciliation of customer and supplier accounts.

o Verification and reconciliation of bank accounts.

Qualifications:

• Education: Higher education in economics (accounting, finance, etc.).

• Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the field of accounting is an advantage.

• Technical Knowledge:

o Solid knowledge of general accounting and taxation.

o Skills in using accounting programs (e.g. SAGA).

o Knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.

•Skills:

o Attention to detail and analytical capacity.

o Good organization and time management skills.

o Ability to work in a team and independently.
