Operations Manager

We are looking for an Operations Manager to expand our client’s team to ensure a smooth running of operations.

Responsibilities:

• Safety and Asset Integrity: Ensure overall safety and asset integrity of multiple geothermal energy facilities;
• Leadership and Team Management: Lead, manage, and coach a multidisciplinary team to fulfil annual business KPIs safely and cost-effectively, enhancing operational excellence.
• Production Planning: Develop and deliver short and long-term production plans and associated operational budgets.
• Operational Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to achieve production targets, ensuring adherence to HSEQ policies and standards by all staff and contractors.
• Supervise the operations, maintenance, and repairs of multiple geothermal energy facilities;
• Responsible for the overall management and coordination of production operations;
• Ensure that the technical operation and the maintenance of the facilities complies with all relevant regulations and standards;
• Establish and maintain quality assurance policies and standards for the technical operations including maintenance of the production facilities;
• Lead the operations team or teams in multiple locations;
• Training and Development: Coach and train the operations team to enhance operational excellence.
• Safety Culture: Promote and foster a culture where safety is a core business value, demonstrating a strong personal commitment.
• Member of the management team.

What do you bring?

• Strong technical background with knowledge of the operation and maintenance of production installations, including dealing with gas production.
• Extensive (hands-on) experience (+10 years) in the oil and gas production/refining and/or petrochemical sector, of which at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Safety and asset integrity.
• Experience in leading a team of technical professionals and managing specialist advisors
• Good understanding of the Dutch Operational Legislation’ requirements Experience liaising with government stakeholders.
• High HSE standards
• Dutch speaking
