Earlier this month, we paid a visit to our new office in the coastal city of Constanta to be part of the grand opening! This is our third office in Romania and 20th worldwide. We are delighted to be even closer to clients and the bright minds of this country in which we first arrived in 2016.
Back then, the oil and gas situation was uncertain and the local energy market was struggling with legislative changes. However, after meticulous strategy and hard work, success working with clients in the energy industry, the Bucharest office continued to grow.
Why Constanta?
Fast forward, The decision to open an office in Constanta was in favor of its strategic location, at the coast of the Black Sea. Its thriving maritime and sea transportation sector has been serving an important role lately in replacing the closed harbor of Odessa. Romania continues to be a key player in our global operations. All thanks to the trust of our clients, consultants and partners
This is, as well, a great opportunity to play a bigger role in the expansion of the alternative energy sources, such as wind, solar and nuclear. The recent European energy crisis triggered an acceleration of project development. In addition, coal production in the country is expected to be phased out by 2030, giving path to newer and renewable ways of supplying energy.
Once in Constanta, we celebrated along with Mihaela Sarlea, our country manager and director of Recruitment who sits in Romania, Jean Paul de Jong, our Chief Operations Officer, amazing team and partners. We, as well, look forward to rocking it with Adina Tiganus, Simona Nichifor, Cristina Dima, Dana Zavelca, Serge Brasoveanu and Victoria Lupu at the new office!
