Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced HSE Supervisor who has worked on constructions yards that built oil and gas production platforms.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards, as well as overseeing the safety and health of all construction personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement HSE policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, and provide guidance and recommendations to ensure compliance with local HSE regulations and company policies
• Review and approve permits for high-risk activities on site, such as hot work, confined spaces, and working at height.
• Maintain and report all safety statistics and ensure that incidents are properly investigated and reported in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Conduct job safety analysis to identify risks and provide appropriate controls.
• Conduct safety induction and training for the project team and the subcontractors.
• Ensure subordinate personnel undergo proper training in order to fulfill their respective roles.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum five (5) years of experience on construction yards for oil and gas production platforms.
• Possession of valid safety certifications
• Good understanding of HSE regulations 
• Strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, attention to detail while maintaining a positive attitude toward the HSE management system.
• Proficiency in computer applications, hands-on experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
