Plant and Workshop responsible

• Report to the Plant Manager and oversee the management of all plant and workshop operations in the highway construction site, including the maintenance, repair, and replacement of equipment and machinery as well as the fabrication, welding and assembly of steel structures and components.
• Ensure that all plant and workshop operations are in good working condition, regularly inspected and maintained, and meet safety standards and regulations.
• Develop and implement plant and workshop maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
• Plan and coordinate the procurement of new equipment and machinery as needed, including negotiating with suppliers and vendors.
• Manage a team of plant operators, technicians, mechanics, welders, and fitters, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure high-quality work and adherence to safety protocols.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations of plant and workshop personnel, identifying areas for improvement and providing training and development opportunities as needed.
• Monitor plant and workshop production and efficiency metrics, analyzing data and identifying areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that plant and workshop operations are aligned with project goals and timelines.
• Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and inspectors, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Create and maintain detailed records and reports of plant and workshop operations, including inventory, equipment maintenance, production metrics, and workshop fabrication and assembly progress.

Note: As the Plant and Workshop Responsible reports to the Plant Manager, they are expected to work closely with the Plant Manager and support them in the management of the entire plant and workshop operations.
