For an important international Energy company, we are currently looking for a Chief Inspector to work in Dos Bocas If you’re passionate and deeply curious about finding solutions to new challenges, you could be the perfect fit for this role.

 
To be successful in this Role, you need:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
5 years of experience in civil works for Oil & Gas projects.
Domain and annexation of plans Constructive.
Strong knowledge in common ground on concrete and steel construction processes.
Expert in standards (NOM, etc.), codes (ACI, AISC, etc.), construction and specifications of materials (SCT etc.).
Knowledge of standards (NRF, NACE, API, etc.), codes (AWS, ASME, etc.), construction and material specifications (ASTM, etc.).
Experience in Planimetric and Altimetric Surveying.
Domain of MS Office software & knowledge of AutoCAD.
Experience in Laboratory Testing and Soil Mechanics.
Solid communication with the Project leaders to provide timely follow-up and comply with the procedures and goals of the Project.
Strong experience working as Civil Inspector from earthworks, fluid concrete, dirt roads, directional drilling, superficial tunnels, directional perforations and support works for concrete and steel pipes.
Teamwork and constructive relationship with colleagues and leaders of the project.
Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills.

Scope of work includes but is not limited to:
 
Preparation and monitoring of documents that follow the procedures.
Commitment on safe work practices and positive attitudes and behaviors.
Inspection the contractors to ensure all civil works comply with current and standards, codes, norms, and specifications.
Inspection the contractors to ensure all activities are carried out in a safe and controlled manner.
Provide expertise to solve problems that may arise during construction activities.
Ensuring that site specific documentation is developed in a timely manner.
Solid integrity as a professional inspector.
