To be successful in this Role, you need:

University Degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial or related technical discipline)
8 – 10 years of experience (min 5 years of experience with personnel in charge) in the position or similar.

• Knowledge in production operations, maintenance, well interventions, facilities and logistics.
• Knowledge about artificial lift systems (gas lift, sucker rod pumping, jet pump, electro submersible pump, plunger lift).
• Knowledge of local labor standards and legislation, related to health, safety, and the environment.
• Competencies in I&T tools (Office package, SAP, Integrated Production Model, Simulation).
• Leadership skills.
• High degree of personal responsibility, operational availability, aptitude to work under pressure.
• Proactive, teamwork-oriented profile, with ability to interpret any required need.
• Effective communication.
• Ability to motivate the team. 

Responsability:

• Coordination of field production staff, services, and resources to achieve and ensure optimum field and facilities operation, maximizing oil and gas production.
• Coordinates, manages and ensure proper supervision of all service companies that carry out production activities.
• Accountable for the preparation of the field daily production report.
• Monitoring of wells in production and behavior analysis. Identification of wells with low performance.
• Identification of plant and production process bottleneck. Optimization proposals.
• Participate in cross-departmental meetings to achieve a comprehensive planning.
• Responsible of field chemical injection tests and protocol implementation (paraffin inhibitors, demulsifying agents, corrosion inhibitors and chemicals in general).
• Collaboration to the field optimization department with respect to the slick line activities, downhole P/T measurement, gas lift valves replacement, tubing mechanical cleaning, etc.
• Focal point with Pemex related operational issues.
• Collaborate with the estimation of the annual operating expenditures budget (OPEX).
• Ensure the application of risk analysis to the tasks carried out in the wells, battery, and field facilities.
• Comply and enforce the issuance of work permits, procedures, lock out / tag out process, preliminary risk work assessment, to achieve the safe and correct execution of the activities.
• Ensure compliance by the production staff with respect to HR policies and procedures.
• Ensure the reporting, classification and investigation of incidents that occurred in the areas of responsibility.
