For an important International Oil&Gas Company, we are currently looking for a Contract Analyst to work in Mexico. If you’re passionate and deeply curious about finding solutions to new challenges, you could be the perfect fit for this role.

To be successful in this Role, you need:

Bachelor’s degree required in Supply Chain Management or 5 years of experience working in a Supply Chain role.

Five years of experience in international contract formation, negotiation, and contract management during execution.

Experience with dispute resolution, claims management, contracting, procurement, supply chain management, and commercial legal experience.

Experience with day-to-day management of high-volume contract-related inquiries and change management.

Experience in EPC contracting and familiarity with various contract delivery methods such as LSTK, GMP, Cost-Plus, etc.

Must be able to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex contractual issues.

Must have the confidence and the ability to work on your own, utilizing your skills to execute business objectives, supporting both internal project offices and customers.

Up to 30% travel throughout Mexico may be required to meet with Suppliers and/or perform site visits.

Scope of work includes but is not limited to:

Responsible for the management and administration of indirect operations contracts for a large-scale capital project in Mexico.

Ability to manage interfaces between projects with overlapping contractual terms.

Provides guidance on pre-qualification of contractors, development of standard general and special terms and conditions as well as knowledge of specialist contract terms (such as for technology providers, transporters, pipelines), tracking of commercial issues during negotiation and execution, monitoring contract obligations, and drafting formal correspondence.

Utilizes standardized processes and tools to ensure contract compliance, and commercial know-how to guide the organization in strategic administration of the contracts while demonstrating strong customer service for the project team.

Assist in developing and maintaining the contract databases, logs, dashboards, and manage the Aconex and SharePoint contract document repositories.

Provide life cycle support of the agreement to include pre-qualification criteria, KPI development, change management and contract close-out.
