Job Description

We are recruiting for a Regulatory Manager for our offshore wind projects. Please note that this is a part-time role.

What you’ll do:

• Act as an expert advisor on offshore wind sector policy, regulation and economic issues
• Lead in the identification, tracking and advising on existing/new regulatory developments, including assessing impact, communicating, and advising on these changes
• Identify and communicate to the project team existing and future regulatory risks to the project and recommending mitigating measures.
• Support the team in development activities to secure leases, conventional and alternative routes to market, grid entry points and consents/licences for offshore wind projects
• Participate in industry working groups to influence direction and remain informed of industry priorities and objectives
• Work with colleagues and stakeholders to identify policy priorities and new opportunities
• Break down complex policy issues into simple concepts for non-expert audiences
• Consolidate a network of key contacts and stakeholders in the sector and coordinating activities to deliver on shared objectives
• Collaborate effectively with other project team members, especially the Consenting leads, Supply Chain Manager and Communications Team

What we’re looking for

You will have:

• A degree in a relevant discipline
• Experience of working in a regulatory environment relevant to offshore wind
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong writing skills and a proven track record in producing published content
