Kelp Blue is an up-and-coming biotech and mariculture startup that operates across the full value chain of kelp (seaweed) cultivation and processing with the goal to boost ocean health and lock away CO2.
The cultivation of this large seaweed presents a pioneering nature-based solution to tackle climate change. Research shows kelp forests can sequester carbon dioxide at rates that far exceed terrestrial woodlands and has the ability to create healthy marine ecosystems.
