CAD Technician

Job Summary

The CAD Technician will report directly to Technical Manager, and he will be responsible for coordinating the engineering activity for different projects (design, calculations, methods and activity planning) during the execution phase. The job holder has the role of performing activities related to the preparation of plans and projects or in the preparation of sections of plans and projects, monitoring the progress of work from a quantitative and qualitative point of view and drawing up activity reports.

Main Responsibilities

• Create high-quality detailed technical drawings and plans based on designs supplied by technical service members, make modifications to existing drawings;

•   Knowledge and use of CAD Software (Autodesk) in 2D and 3D, Civil 3D and Revit are plus;

•   Ensure drawings are compliant with standards;

•   Critical approach to the work performed;

•   Capacity to calculate quantities;

•   Maintain accurate records and drawing list;

•   Liaise with the members of the team (not only technical services) to understand requirements and provide support;

Qualifications

•   Higher studies in the field of constructions (preferably civil and industrial constructions);

•   Intelligence (logical thinking, memory), communication skills and teamwork mentality;

•   Correctness, seriousness, principled attitude in relations with people;

•   Attention to details and distributional attention, balance and self-control;

•   PC operating skills: Microsoft Office, Excel, Powerpoint, Internet Explorer;

•   Resistance to stress and organizational-time management skills;

•   Experience in the field of at least 2 years;

•   Knowledge of at least one CAD program (ACAD, ARHICAD, ETC, ETABS, SAP);

•   To have solid knowledge regarding the legislation in force regarding the field of industrial and agricultural civil constructions and technologies in the field;

•   Knowledge of English, Italian is an advantage;
