Job Description

Position Title: ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER

Education Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Environmental Engineering OR Environmental Science (from an institution of higher learning authorized to grant academic degrees in the country of issue)

Professional   / Technical Qualifications

Minimum one of the following:

• NEBOSH IGC or NEBOSH Certificate for Environmental Management
• ISO 14001 Internal or Lead Auditor
• Any other HSE certifications (considered at ADNOC Group discretion) Other HSE

Trainings / Certifications will be added advantage

Work Experience

• Minimum 4-6 Years of experience in any industry.
• At least 3 year of experience in managing and implementing Environmental aspects in projects / operations / production in the oil & gas or petro-chemical industries.

Skills and Competencies

• Have strong understanding of the Environmental issues, practices in the Oil & Gas operations/EPC business.
• Sound understanding of the HSE Management System and Environmental legislative requirements.
• Ability to develop and implement Environment Management Plans,
• Ability to conduct Environmental Monitoring
• Ability to conduct training/awareness sessions on relevant Environment related procedures and standards
• Ability to conduct Environment audits and inspections.
• Ability to investigate environment related incidents, identify immediate and root causes.
• Ability to speak, read and write English with good communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills
