Job Description

For one of our clients, we are looking for Expert Automation who monitors compliance with the legal provisions on automation equipment.

Key responsibilities 

  1. Performs preventive and corrective maintenance works for the automation equipment..
  2. Investigates electrical and automation-related technical accidents and proposes corrective measures.
  3. Participates in the technical review of projects
  4. Follows up on the execution of works the adherence to the budget
  5. Provides assistance to the execution of investment projects
  6. Takes part in technical review meetings, HAZOP.
  7. Assists in the investigation and drawing up of incident reports
  8. Reviews existent technological facility equipment and makes suggestions for improvements meant to increase operational efficiency
  9. Application of Integrated Management System requirements – knowledge of system documents
  10. HSSE duties: to ascertain and respect the legislation in the field of health, safety, security and environment protection at work, protection against fire and civil protection as long as their implementation measures; to use the equipment of the current and protection activity according to the technical instructions; not affect the good functioning, not alter, change or arbitrary remove the security devices in the building where he/she is working; to communicate immediately to the employer and/or assigned employees any situation on which he/she have serious reasons to consider as a danger for the security and health of the employees, as well as any malfunctioning of the protection system; to inform the line manager and/or the employer about the accidents suffered; to cooperate with the employer and/or assigned employees in order to make possible the implementation of any measures or requirements of the law or related authorities; to cooperate with the employer and/or the related authorities in order to allow a work environment and work conditions without risks for security and health; to act, according to the procedures established at the work place, in case of occurrence of any imminent fire danger or other emergency situation; to provide to assigned persons all known data and information concerning occurred work accidents and/or fires.; to attend medical health surveillance examinations at the workplace, as planned by the occupational health physician with the employer’s agreement.
  11. Observes and performs the activities according to the IMS documents applicable to the workstation 
  12. Complies with legal requirements and other applicable requirements in the field of environmental protection, occupational health and security, fire protection (e.g. authorisations, environmental programs, environmental emergency plans, prevention and protection plans, measures taken after authority controls or controls of the authorized institutions);
  13. Uses, maintains and manages correctly the work means / pieces of equipment, the fire protection and safety equipment and personal protective equipment;
  14. Informs the superior immediately about any situation she considers to be a threat to the environment, to the health and security, or about any work, environmental or technical incident occurred at the work place;
  15. Informs the hierarchical superior about the accidents suffered during the working hours, on the normal way to / from the workplace and about any accidents with a means of transportation belonging to the company;
  16. Does not make any modifications or technological changes without applying the regulations regarding the management of change;
  17. Supports and participates in the continuous improvement of the Energy Management System while maintaining the refinery’s certification according to ISO 50001:

Minimum Requirements 
Education:      Master degree      
Subject of education:  electronics/ automation/ IT 
 
Relevant professional experience    3 – 5 years

  1. Field experience – min. 5 years

 
Relevant professional skills 
 

  1. Knowledge of automation equipment.
  2. Knowledge of facilities in the area of responsibility.
  3. Knowledge of safety requirements for automation equipment in potentially explosive environments.
  4. Knowledge of current legislation for automation equipment.
  5. Communication skills
  6. Team player
  7. Category B driving licence
  8. Availability for business trips
