Exploration Manager (Oil&Gas Projects)

About The Role

We are looking for an Exploration Manager (Oil&Gas Projects) to lead exploration efforts for our international partner. You will be responsible for leading exploration projects, geological research, target generation and reporting. If you’re passionate and deeply curious about finding solutions to new challenges, you could be the perfect fit for this role.

To be successful in this Role, you need:

Integrative Geoscientist with 15+ years upstream interpretation and managerial experience.

Over 10 years of successful Exploration Geoscience Management experience that includes building and developing exploration teams; developing, planning, and safely executing exploration work plans, coordination of multidisciplinary efforts in projects ranging from rank exploration, appraisal to development.

• Preference for Global Exploration Experience

Scope of work includes but is not limited to:

Coordinating integrative teams for delivery to tight project timelines with exacting technical specifications for quality.

Delivering value-based assessment of potential portfolio and ensuring value-based decisions in further development of reserves and contingent resources.

Presenting project evaluations and recommendations to senior management, current and potential partners.

Managing expectations of key stakeholders.

Collaboration in cross-functional technical effort to identify for capture and reprocess legacy onshore 3D seismic data for better imaging and reservoir characterization, assist in QC steps and ensure team provides critical surfaces, faults, and well analyses necessary for successful completion of projects.

Get second opinion on the prospect portfolio and exploration strategy.

Mandatory skills:

Excellent English communication skills.

Excellent Spanish communication skills.
