Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Interface Engineer to join our team on behalf of one of our prestigious French clients. This role is based in Paris, France, and offers the opportunity for a 12-month engagement with the potential for extension. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in deepwater engineering projects, focusing on project execution, technical interface management, subsea rigid flowlines design, installation engineering, and overseeing handover activities between interfacing parties.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination and management of technical interfaces between project teams and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Utilize deepwater engineering expertise to contribute to the design and installation of subsea rigid flowlines.
• Oversee and facilitate effective handover activities between interfacing parties, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and efficiency in the transfer of responsibilities.
• Collaborate with contractors to manage expectations, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring adherence to project specifications and standards.
• Participate in project planning, execution, and review processes, providing technical input and guidance to optimize outcomes.
• Address and resolve any technical issues that arise, leveraging expertise in deepwater engineering to ensure project continuity and success.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• More than 5 years of experience in deepwater engineering, with a strong background in project execution and technical interface management.
• Demonstrated experience in the design and installation engineering of subsea rigid flowlines.
• Proven capability in managing technical interfaces with contractors and overseeing handover activities between interfacing parties.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage complex technical discussions and negotiations.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in French is highly desirable to effectively work with our French clients and partners.
