Job Summary

We are looking for a Drilling Supervisor on behalf of a prominent energy company in the Netherlands. Our client is involved in both conventional and renewable energy projects, with a focus on sustainable energy solutions and reducing environmental impact.
As Night Drilling Supervisor you will all aspects of offshore drilling operations, ensuring the safe and successful execution of drilling projects.
 
Main Responsibilities

• Assist the Day Drilling Supervisor to ensure the accuracy of information in the daily drilling reports and in other communications with the onshore Drilling team (such as Daily report, Time depth, Daily cost, weekly management reports etc.)
• Ensure policies and instructions are properly communicated to the rig team
• Supervise and support well control planning and procedures in conjunction with the rig team
• Supervise and support drilling operational activities of Drilling team members offshore
• Ordering, checking and subsequent return of equipment, materials and services required for activities
• Supervise and support project agreed HSEQ processes and initiatives on the rig
• Conduct daily operational meetings on the rig site
• Participate in rig Safety Meetings, Safety Management System and promote the use of the behavioural safety system.

 
Qualifications and experience

• Fully certified by a recognised Well Control Authority for well servicing activities e.g. IWCF Supervisor level
• Offshore Survival Training Certificate, Medical and MIST
• Extensive experience within a North Sea
• Previous experience in an operator environment preferred
• Engineering degree (or equivalent experience, gained )
• Practical experience as a Drilling Engineer in well planning operations and as a Rig Site Drilling Engineer
