Job Summary:

We are seeking a Downstream Process Engineer with experience in Crude Distillation and treating processes (Atmospheric distillation, Vacuum distillation, MEROX, etc …) to join the Refinery Engineering Department under the Downstream Global Manufacturing to support and oversee the performances of facility assets.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations in all economic activities.
• Seek alternatives to minimize costs and losses.
• Prepare and analyze Financial Statements, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Income Statement.
• Coordinate and manage key areas such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, accounting, cost control, taxes, and payroll.
• Plan cash flow aligned with operational needs.
• Participate in internal and external audits, as well as reviews by tax and social security authorities.
• Develop, execute, and monitor financial, tax, and accounting strategies.
• Continuously improve budgets, financial planning, and reporting to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Identify areas of risk and implement actions to minimize financial losses and operational issues.
• Evaluate project profitability and margins.
• Design efficiency and profitability measures.
• Analyze company special items.
• Support in the preparation of the annual budget.
• Lead work teams.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized and approved program.  An advanced degree is preferred.
• Should have a minimum 15 years of total refinery process unit experience (process engineering and operations) with at least 10 years’ experience in handling Crude distillation units.
• Exposure to different licensor technologies for Hydrocarbon treating is a plus as well as familiarity with Honeywell UOP or Axens licensed units.
• Must be Certified PHA/HAZOP leader.
• Familiarity and understanding of the best practices, design principles, international engineering standards and specifications relevant to operation of the concerned process units are preferred.
