Job Description

WTS Energy is seeking hire Project Manager(Substation and OHTL) for one of its client who is a reputed EPCM client.

Project Manager will lead all project activity as part of the provision of Project Management Consultant (PMC) services for the 132kV Grid Substation (132kV GSS) Project and the 132kV Overhead Line (132kV OHTL) Project. This will include ensuring that all project activity by EPC Contractor meets the requirements of the Contract and the Client, resolving project issues and managing the PMC project team resources.

Job Description:

• Assure correct performance of the following activities by EPC Contractors
• Development of the Project deliverables list
• Quality of the project outputs
• Incorporation of Company comments into engineering design, procurement activity, construction execution, commissioning and energization.
• HSSE leadership, management and execution
• Quality leadership, management and execution
• Monitor and drive project progress in terms of both quality and schedule
• Manage and communicate all performance, resource, risk, cost, quality and schedule aspects of project execution on behalf of the Client
• Management of PMC project team engineers and resources to ensure quality and schedule requirements are met
• Ensure safe project delivery
• Ensure quality requirements of Project are met
• Identify and resolve issues
• Identify and resolve potential conflicts between EPC Contractor’s plans and execution and Client’s and Contract’s requirements
• Manage project interfaces both internally within Company and externally
• Review routine reports, initiate appropriate actions, and ensure actions are completed in the correct timeframe
• Prepare ITT documents
• Plan, manage and participate in tender technical evaluations
• Anticipate future tasks and challenges and prepare plans for review and approval

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any of the main Engineering branches. Electrical preferred but not essential.
• Minimum 20 years’ experience in Substations and OHTL or similar industry.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in related project delivery in a project management / engineering management role
• Experience as a project manager in multi-discipline EPC projects – essential
• Experience as a project manager in PMC role – essential
• Experience as project manager on project with significant power generation and distribution scope
