About the role:

 As Senior Buyer, you will play a vital role in overseeing all procurement activities related to our production and ongoing projects. Your mission will be to execute our strategic supply chain vision by expanding and nurturing our network of suppliers. Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, including Technology, Projects & Engineering, Manufacturing, and Business Development teams, as well as finance and legal departments, you will drive the following key responsibilities:

• Ensure a seamless and uninterrupted flow of goods and materials, mitigating any risks that may impact business operations.

• Conduct thorough market research, meticulously select and procure a wide range of goods, materials, components, and services, aligning with predetermined cost, quality, and delivery targets.

• Take ownership of developing Requests for Quotations (RFQs), managing tenders, skillfully negotiating contracts with suppliers, and ensuring their accurate preparation.

• Actively engage in supplier visits to cultivate and nurture strong relationships, while ensuring adherence to delivery schedules and incorporating valuable lessons learned.

• Continuously monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and the landscape of suppliers to stay ahead of the curve.

Who are you:

To excel in this role, we believe you possess a bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Legal, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in a related industry. Your passion lies in driving innovation and implementing fresh ideas that enhance supply chain operations, contributing tangible value to both the team and the organization as a whole. Adept at managing both external and internal stakeholders, you possess exceptional prioritisation skills, enabling you to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in contract preparation, Terms & Conditions, and supplier management principles.
