Welding Engineer IWE

• Start: ASAP
• Duration: 12 months renewable
• Location: Montigny le Bretonneux + Brazil + remote

DESCRIPTION:
The activity of this service will focus on :
Review of supplier welding documentation
 – Technical support to suppliers on welding issues
– Drawing up welding documentation for offshore and onsite structural and tubular fabrications
– Coordination of welding qualifications on manufacturing sites
– Technical support to manufacturing sites on welding issues
– Assignment in Brazil (6 months) plus spot missions at start and end of assignment in Paris, Saint-Quentin- en Yvelines

SKILLS REQUIRED :
In order to carry out this service, the Contractor must provide the skills described below:
Welding Engineer with IWE or IWT certification
Knowledge of structural and tubular welding codes (such as AWS D1.1, ASME IX, ASME B31.3, ASME B31.8, NORSOK M101, DNV RP F101, etc.)
Manufacturing yard experience
Able to travel to Brazil.  No presence in Brazil in the last 12 months.
International medical visit required.
